The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that was reported to have occurred in the 4100 block of Napier Ave at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies responded to the 200 block of Park Street after receiving additional information that a male with a gunshot wound ran to this location. Deputies made contact with the male who was suffering from a single gunshot wound to the leg. Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to a medical facility for treatment. He is listed to be in stable condition.
No one else was injured during the incident. The circumstances surrounding this incident are currently under investigation. Additional information will be provided once it becomes available.
