The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that happened in the 400 block of Daffodil Street, just after 06:30 p.m.
Deputies responded to Daffodil Street regarding reports of shots fired. Upon arrival they located 45-year-old Cedric Bernard Davis, of Macon, unresponsive in the roadway. Davis was pronounced deceased by Deputy Coroner Ronnie Miley on scene. The next of kin has been notified by Deputy Coroner Ronnie Miley. No one else was injured during the incident. Investigators are working to determine what lead up to the incident.
