On May 24, 2023, 34-year-old Geraldo Kevin Laurama of Warner Robins, was apprehended by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office during a traffic stop. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office was notified, and Geraldo Laurama was later transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.

Geraldo Kevin Laurama is currently being held without bond for Probation Violation, three counts of Aggravated Assault, and Murder.

Death Investigation at Rodeo Bar and Grill

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office was notified that the victim of the shooting at the Rodeo Bar and Grill succumbed to his injuries.

It was reported that 46-year-old Jermaine Stewart, of Macon, who was shot while working as security for the Rodeo Bar and Grill was pronounced deceased at 2:30 p.m. by Atrium Health staff. It happened on September 10, 2022, just after 04:00 a.m.

Aggravated Assault Incident at Rodeo Bar and Grill

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that happened at 4053 Pio Nono Avenue, Rodeo Bar and Grill just after 04:00 a.m.

It was reported there was an altercation inside the Rodeo Bar and Grill. Multiple people were involved and made to leave the bar. As the subjects were leaving multiple shots were fired by unknown subjects. During the incident, the security guard a 46-year-old male was struck in the head. The victim was transported to Atrium Health and is listed in critical condition. No one else was injured in the incident.

There is no information on the suspects currently other than two male subjects.
