The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that happened in the 3400 block of Hollingsworth Road just after 10:00 p.m.
It was reported that a 24-year-old female was in front of a residence on Hollingsworth Road when several shots were fired. The victim was struck in the leg. She was driven to the Piedmont North hospital and is listed in stable condition at this time. No one else was injured in the incident. Investigators are looking into what lead up to the shooting.
There is no information on the suspect at this time. The above information is preliminary and could change as the investigation progresses.
