Bibb County Sheriff’s Office S.R.T. (Special Response Team) Unit deputies located an individual that was wanted for questioning in connection with a death investigation. The individual was found at a hotel, located at 107 Holiday Drive North, on Monday, May 1, 2023.

Bibb Sheriff’s S.R.T. deputies arrested 32-year-old Troyce Avery Billingslea on an outstanding Probation Violation- Felony warrant. Bibb Sheriff’s investigators met with Billingslea Monday evening about the fatal shooting death of Craig Page.

It was originally reported that 48-year-old Craig Page was shot in the leg on October 3, 2022. He was transported to the hospital and listed to be in critical, but stable condition. On December 12, 2022, Page succumbed to the injury that he had received from the October incident.

After being interviewed about Page’s death, Billingslea was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center for the Probation Violation warrant.

On May 2, 2023, Bibb Sheriff’s Investigators charged Troyce Billingslea in connection with Page’s death.

Troyce Billingslea is currently being held, without bond, for the charges of Murder, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of or Attempt to Commit Certain Felonies and Probation Violation-Felony.
