The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a commercial armed robbery suspect. The incident occurred on April 19, 2023, at 4:43 a.m., at the Red Roof Inn located at 2720 Riverside Dr.
It was reported that a masked individual entered the Red Roof Inn lounge area and brandished a firearm at an employee. The suspect escorted the employee to the front lobby and demanded money from the cash register. The employee removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and gave it to the suspect. The suspect then escorted the employee back to where he made entry and fled the business.
The suspect is a black male approximately 5’9″ and weighing around 150 to 165 pounds. He was wearing a brown synthetic wig, black face covering, black hooded zip-up jacket with a blue logo of the Georgia State Panthers on the left breast portion of the coat, multiple gold chains, black pants and white sneakers.
