The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that was reported to have occurred in the 2900 block of Churchill Street on April 15, 2023, at 1:02 a.m.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the scene and made contact with a 67-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to a medical facility for treatment. He is listed in stable condition. No one else was injured during the incident.
The circumstances surrounding this incident are still under investigation.
