Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators were able to link a Macon female to the aggravated assault of a 14-year-old female on April 9, 2022, on Grosso Avenue.
On April 10, 2023, 25-year-old Briana Karneisha-Lashae Wright surrendered to Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators in connection to the aggravated assault on Grosso Avenue. Wright is being held on charges of Discharge of a Firearm on or near a Public Highway or Street and Aggravated Assault. She is being held on $33,000.00 bond.

Aggravated Assault on Grosso Avenue
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that was reported to have occurred in the 700 block of Grosso Avenue just after 7:00 p.m.
It was reported that there was a physical dispute at a residence in the 700 block of Grosso Avenue. During the argument a 14-year-old female was shot once. The victim was transported to Atrium Health and is listed in stable condition at this time. No one else was injured during the incident. Investigators are determining what led up to the shooting. There is no information on the suspect currently.
