The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that happened in the 1700 block of Nussbaum Avenue, just after 3:00 p.m.
It was reported a 31-year-old male was cutting grass at the Tindall Fields Apartment. He was in front of one of the residents on a lawnmower when he heard gunshots and was struck in the foot. The victim was transported to Atrium Health and is listed in stable condition at this time. No one else was injured in the incident. Investigators are looking into what led up to the shooting.
