The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Armed Robbery of a clerk, located at 4555 Mercer University Drive just after 8:30 p.m.
It was reported that the clerk, a 33-year-old male, was taking out the trash at the Solo Mart, 4555 Mercer University Drive, when he was approach by an unknown male. The male demanded money from the clerk. During the incident the clerk was stabbed in the leg. The suspect fled the area on foot. The clerk was taken the Navicent Health hospital and is listed in critical but stable condition at this time. No one else was injured during the incident.
The suspect is described as a male wearing all black. There is no further information on the suspect.
