Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested a suspect in connection with the death of 21-year-old Zyshown Dunn.
It was reported that an altercation took place between a male that lives at the residence and Zyshown Dunn, who was visiting other individuals at the residence. During the altercation, Dunn was struck by gunfire. Dunn was pronounced deceased at the scene. Bibb Sheriff’s patrol deputies detained the other male, who was still at the scene.
The detained male, 33-year-old Torey Antwan Burnette, was transported to the Investigations Division to be interviewed about the incident. After being interviewed, Burnette was then taken to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and charged with Murder. Burnette is currently being held, without bond.

Death Investigation on Log Cabin Drive
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators are investigating a death that occurred at 3764 Log Cabin Drive. The incident was called into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at around 9:38 a.m.
It was reported that an altercation took place between a male that lives at the residence and a male that was visiting. During the altercation, the visiting male was struck by gunfire. The visitor was pronounced deceased at the scene. Bibb Sheriff’s patrol deputies detained the other male, who was still at the scene.
The deceased has been identified as 21-year-old Zyshown Dunn. According to Coroner Leon Jones, the next of kin has been notified.
The detained male will be taken to the Investigations Division to be interviewed about the incident.
