Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators are continuing to investigate an aggravated assault that took place at Bowden Homes, located at 2301 Houston Avenue. The incident was called into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at around 9:39 p.m., Tuesday.
It was reported that a physical altercation took place between several male individuals. During the altercation, 39-year-old Raynaldo Dejuan Hawkins was stabbed. The other male individuals fled the area, law enforcement and EMS were called to the scene.
Mr. Hawkins was transported to the hospital by ambulance. According to the hospital, he is listed in stable condition.
Investigators are continuing to work on identifying the other individuals involved and the circumstances that led to the incident. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.

Aggravated Assault Investigation at Bowden Homes

It was a reported that a physical altercation took place between several individuals. During the altercation, one of the individuals was stabbed. The other individuals fled the area, law enforcement and EMS were called to the scene.
The male victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance. He is currently listed in critical condition. The name of the victim will not be released at this time.
