The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of an aggravated assault that took place at Bowden Homes, located at 2301 Houston Avenue. The incident was called into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at around 9:39 p.m.
It was a reported that a physical altercation took place between several individuals. During the altercation, one of the individuals was stabbed. The other individuals fled the area, law enforcement and EMS were called to the scene.
The male victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance. He is currently listed in critical condition. The name of the victim will not be released at this time.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
