The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that was reported to have occurred in the 4200 block of Elkan Avenue just before 7:00 p.m.
It was reported that a 16-year-old male was walking on Elkan Avenue at Adger Road with a group when a vehicle drove by and multiple shots were fired. The 16-year-old victim was stuck multiple times. He was transported to Atrium Health and is listed in critical condition at this time. No one else was injured during the incident.
There is no information on the suspect or vehicle description currently.
