The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic collision that occurred on Pio Nono Avenue in front of O’Reilly Auto Parts just after 7:00 p.m. on January 21, 2023.
It was reported that the 40-year-old female, later identified as Stephanie Glover, was walking on Pio Nono Avenue near Harris Road when she attempted to cross the road and walked into the path of an Infinity G25X, driven by a 46-year-old man from Macon.
Glover was transported to Atrium Health where she was later pronounced deceased. No one else was injured during the incident. According to the Coroner’s office the next of kin has been notified.

Fatal Pedestrian Traffic Collision Investigation on Pio Nono Avenue
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic collision that occurred on Pio Nono Avenue in front of O’Reilly Auto Parts just after 7:00 p.m.
It was reported that a 40-year-old female was walking on Pio Nono Avenue near Harris Road when the female attempted to cross the road and walked into the path of an Infinity G25X, driven by a 46-year-old man from Macon. The female’s name will not be released until the next of kin has been notified.
