The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a pedestrian involved collision, with serious injury. The collision was called into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at around 5:47 p.m., Sunday.
It was reported that a female was struck by a Honda Accord, while riding a bicycle on Pio Nono Avenue, near its intersection with Dubose Street.
The female victim was transported to the Atrium Navicent Health by ambulance and is currently listed to be in critical condition. The name of the female victim with not be released at this time. The driver of the Honda Accord was not injured.
