The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that occurred in the 2900 block of Gordon Street just after 8:00 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies responded to Gordon Street in reference to a person shot. Upon arrival deputies found 29-year-old Demonta Steve Clyde inside the home suffering from a gunshot wound. Clyde was pronounced deceased on scene by Deputy Coroner Luanne Stone. The next of kin has been notified. Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators are still determining what lead up to the shooting. Further details will be released once information becomes available.
