The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that occurred in the parking lot of 6211 Thomaston Road. The incident was reported to the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at 9:27 a.m., Friday morning.
It was reported that an individual was found in the parking lot of an empty business. The individual was found to be fatally wounded by gunfire. The identity of the individual is unknown at this time.
The individual was pronounced at the scene by Deputy Coroner Stone.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
