The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that occurred in the 200 block of Clisby Place.
It was reported that a call of an abandoned vehicle came into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at around 9:30 a.m., Wednesday morning. The vehicle was reported to be a silver Chevrolet Impala, with dark tinted windows. Deputies arrived and discovered an unresponsive male in the back seat of the vehicle. The male was reported to be deceased from a gunshot wound to the chest area.
The circumstances surrounding this incident are under investigation. The victim has been identified as 65-year-old Eddie Lee Davis. According to Coroner Leon Jones, the next of kin has been notified.
