Two brothers were arrested on Wednesday for gun and drug charges by Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit Investigators and members of the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force.

It was reported that U.S. Marshal Task Force members went to a Fourth Avenue address to serve an arrest warrant on 34-year-old Trayon Latray Brown.  U.S. Marshals Task Force members entered the residence and found Trayon Brown with his brother, 44-year-old  Larry Kinte Brown. Investigators discovered approximately 22 grams of marijuana and found Larry Brown, a convicted felon, in possession of a handgun. The two brothers were taken into custody and Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit investigators were called to the scene.

Drug Unit investigators obtained a search warrant of the residence and located over 11 grams of cocaine.

Both of the brothers are currently in custody of the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. Trayon Latray Brown is in jail for the charges of Burglary in the 2nd degree, Probation Violation-Felony, Marijuana, Possession Less than one ounce and a Bond Surrender-Superior Court. Trayon Brown was out on bond when he was arrested on Wednesday. Trayon was out on bond for the charges of Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Firearm by 1st Offender, Possession of Methamphetamine, Driving without a Valid Driver’s License, Possession of Marijuana, and Obstruction.

Larry Brown was charged with Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon, Possession of Cocaine with the Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of or Attempt to Commit Certain Felonies, and a Probation Violation-Felony.
