Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a juvenile in connection with a robbery of a vehicle that took place on Tuesday night at a store that is located on Napier Avenue.
It was reported that a male individual pulled into a store parking lot, at 3590 Napier Avenue. A juvenile approached the driver and gestured as if he had a handgun. The juvenile demanded that the male get out of his truck. The male driver complied, the juvenile jumped into the truck, and then fled the scene. The male truck owner was not harmed.
BCSO Sheriff’s Response Team (SRT) deputies arrived and canvased the area. SRT deputies located the truck, abandoned, further down Napier Avenue. The juvenile was found hiding in the back yard of a residence that is located on American Boulevard. The truck was returned to the owner and the juvenile was taken into custody.
The 15-year-old juvenile was charged with Robbery by Intimidation. His case has been turned over to the Juvenile Courts.
