The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault that happened on February 5, 2022, at a residence in the 400 block of Bob White Road.
It was reported that 42-year-old Eddie Antonio Thomas, of Thomaston, was shot during an altercation at a residence on Bob White Road. Thomas was transported for treatment and released from the hospital. On March 11, 2022, Thomas was transported to Upson Regional Hospital and pronounced deceased by staff. An autopsy was performed, and it was determined that Thomas died due to complications from his injuries.
On February 5,2022, 26-year-old Terrance Marquis Williams, of Macon, was charged with Aggravated Assault regarding this case. He was taken to the Bibb County jail and booked on the charge of Aggravated Assault. Williams posted a $38,500.00 bond on February 17, 2022.
On June 28, 2022, a Special Presentment bench warrant for Murder was issued for 26-year-old Terrance Marquis Williams.
