The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that occurred at a home in the 3800 block of Wynnwood Drive. The incident was called into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center Friday night.

Deputies responded to the home and found 32-year-old Dontarrius Durell Holloway fatally wounded in the doorway of the home. According to witnesses Holloway suffers from a mental illness and was having an episode of mental distress. Witnesses described Holloway actions as destroying items in the home and walking through the home displaying a handgun. During the incident Holloway pointed his gun at his sister Destiny Watson. Watson also had a handgun and fired at Holloway, fatally wounding him.

At this time, this investigation is ongoing. Watson has not been charged at this time. Further information will be released as the stages of this investigation develops.

Death Investigation on Wynnwood Drive

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that occurred at a home in the 3800 block of Wynnwood Drive. The incident was called into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center Friday night.

Deputies responded to the home and found 32-year-old Dontarrius Durell Holloway fatally wounded. According to Deputy Coroner Luann Stone the next of kin has been notified.

The circumstance behind the incident are under investigation. This incident is in the early stages of the investigation.
