The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that was reported to have occurred 4151 Log Cabin Drive, Windy Hill Manor Apartments just before 12:30 a.m.
Deputies responded to the 4151 Log Cabin Drive, Windy Hill Manor Apartments, regarding a person shot. Upon arrival deputies found a 27-year-old female who was shot. She was transported to the Navicent Health Hospital. The 27-year-old was pronounced deceased by hospital staff. The events leading up to the incident are still under investigation. No one else was injured during the incident. Next of kin has not been notified at this time.
There is no information on the suspect currently.
