Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a death that occurred at the River Park Apartments, located at 720 Tidewater Circle.
It was reported that a call came into the Macon-Bibb County 911 Center in reference to several shots being fired at the River Park Apartments at 1:12 p.m. Deputies arrived at the scene and found an unresponsive male in front of building 30.
The male victim, 30 -year-old Keonta Quintez Rouse of Macon, was pronounced deceased at the scene by Coroner Leon Jones. According to Coroner Jones, the next of kin has been notified.
This investigation is in its early stages. Additional information will be released when it becomes available.
