The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the suspect in an Aggravated Assault incident. The incident was reported to have occurred on April 30,2022, on Pio Nono Avenue near Spencer Circle, just after 5:00 p.m.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in the aggravated assault. It was reported that a 60-year-old male of Macon, was traveling on Pio Nono Avenue when a green Ford Expedition pulling a fishing boat came up behind his car. The victim stated that the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed and changing lanes aggressively. The vehicle then went around the victim’s vehicle and slammed on brakes almost immediately. The victim went around the Ford Expedition and that is when the driver, a white male, pointed a rifle at his vehicle and fired multiple shots, then sped off. The victim was struck in the back and drove himself to the Atrium Hospital and is listed in stable condition.
A picture of a similar type of Ford Expedition is attached to this release. The only description of the boat was that it was either brown and white, or orange and white in color, and a larger fishing boat.
