The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that was reported to have occurred on Cedar Avenue near Bowden Homes at 9:06 p.m.
Deputies responded to the 2300 block of Houston Avenue regarding a person shot. It was reported that a 30-year-old male was walking on Cedar Avenue near Bowden Homes when a light color car drove by. That is when the victim heard several shots fired and was struck in the foot. The victim was taken the Atrium Health and is listed in stable condition at this time. No one else was injured during the incident. There is no further information on the suspect.
