The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a person shot. The incident was reported to have occurred at 6:16 p.m. at 159 Steven Drive, West Club Apartments. It was reported that a 25-year-old female victim was found shot inside of a parked vehicle.
The female victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance, where she later died from her injuries. The name of the victim will be released once the next of kin has been contacted.
The circumstances surrounding this incident are still under investigation. More details will be released once they become available.
