The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place at the Dollar General, located at 6369 Thomaston Road.
The incident was called into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at around 9:00 p.m. It was reported that a female entered the store and pretended to shop. After a short amount of time, she walked towards the front of the store, brandished a handgun, and demanded money from the cash register.
After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, she left the store, and got into a white in color Nissan Cube. The vehicle left the parking lot and headed in an unknown direction. The individual is described as a black female with green and purple colored hair. The female wore all black clothing and was carrying a pink bag.
