The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the armed robbery of the Kentucky Fried Chicken, located at 844 Shurling Drive. The incident occurred just after 10:00 p.m. on Monday.
It was reported that a male entered the store brandishing a handgun and demanded money from the employees. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash the suspect fled on foot. The suspect is described as a young black male wearing all black clothing, with a white mask covering his face.
