The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a motor vehicle collision with a serious injury.
The collision was called into the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 1:54 p.m. It was reported that a 2005 gold colored Chevrolet Tahoe collided with a 2005 white in color Chevrolet Tahoe. The collision took place in front of the Family Dollar that is located at 3190 Mercer University Drive.
Traffic investigators are investigating the circumstances surrounding this collision. Both drivers were transported to the Atrium Health Navicent by ambulance. The first driver is listed to be in stable condition, the other driver is listed to be in critical condition. The name of the driver that is in critical condition will not be released until family members have been notified of the incident.
