Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators along with the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force received information on the location of 23-year-old Tamya Alexander. Alexander and her daughter Serenity Williams were located, and are safe.  

They were located Wednesday night at a residence in the 2000 block of Vineville Avenue.  Sheriff’s investigators have removed both Alexander and Williams from the NCIC system as a missing person.

After further investigation it was found that Tamya had sent several false communications indicating that she and her child were in danger. Investigators found this to be false, and Alexander was charged with terroristic threats, and enticing a child for indecent purposes. Alexander is being held without bond at this time.

Asking for Public’s Assistance in Missing Persons Investigation

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in a missing persons investigation.

According to investigators, 23-year-old Tamya De’Anna Alexander and her daughter, two-year-old Serenity Williams, were reported missing to the Sheriff’s Office on March 1, 2022.

It was stated that the family last saw Tamya and Serenity on February 28, 2022 at around 12:00 p.m. Tamya and Serenity were last seen getting into a blue colored BMW, while in the 1900 block of Vining Circle. No further information was given about the vehicle.

The family is concerned about the welfare of Tamya and her child.

Tamya is described as a black female, she is 5 feet 8 inches in height, and her weight is around 225 pounds. She has dark hair and brown eyes.

Serenity is described as a black female child. She has dark hair and brown eyes.
