The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident that occurred at the Fish and Loaves Ministry, located at 651 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The incident took place at around 1:54p.m.
It was reported that two male individuals were involved . One of the males was shot during the altercation.
The male that was injured was transported to the Atrium Health Navicent by ambulance, where he was later pronounced deceased. The name of the deceased can not be released until the next of kin has been notified.
The second male involved in the incident has been transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Division, to be interviewed.
This incident is under investigation. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
