The Macon-Bibb Law Enforcement Foundation donated an IVC, or Industrial Video and Control surveillance trailer to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. This law enforcement tool will be used at festivals and other special events that may need additional monitoring. The camera system will help create a swift and coordinated response to any emergency observed by this device.

The IVC, is an Industrial Video and Control surveillance trailer that is solar powered. It is equipped with a PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) camera, with night vision and a fish eye camera, that monitors a 360 degree area around the trailer itself. The IVC has a loud speaker system as well as L.E.D. flood lights and blue lights. The camera mast can be raised to a height of 25 feet. All of the systems, such as the cameras, loud speaker, and lights, can be operated remotely by a mobile phone, laptop, or desktop computer. The trailer also has an onboard storage system of two Tera Bytes.
