The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in helping locate a missing-runaway juvenile.
Joseph Swaby, age 12, was last seen by his mother as he left his home on Wednesday morning. Swaby lives in the 700 block of Tidewater Circle. His mother stated that she last saw Joseph as he was headed to the school bus stop. She stated that when Joseph did not return home on Wednesday night, she became concerned. She stated that it was not like Joseph to not return home. Joseph’s Mom stated that she checked the school’s portal and that he attended all of his classes, but she was not sure if he rode the school bus home.
Joseph is described as a black male. He is approximately 5 feet 8 inches in height, and weighs around 125 pounds. Joseph was last seen wearing a navy blue, “Tommy Hilfiger” jacket, khaki pants and a gold colored shirt. A photograph of Joseph Swaby is attached to this media release.
