The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a pedestrian involved traffic collision that occurred at the 6000 block of Thomaston Road. The incident was called into Macon-Bibb 911 Center at around 8:00 p.m.
It was reported that a 26-year-old male was fatally struck by a vehicle that was traveling west bound on Thomason Road when the collision occurred.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased on the scene by Bibb County Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley. The name of the deceased will not be released until the next of kin has not been notified.
