The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Commercial Armed Robbery that took place at the Marathon gas station, located at 5013 Harrison Road. The incident occurred at around 4:30 p.m.
It was reported that a male entered the store, pretended to shop, and then brandished a handgun. The male demanded money from the register. Once the male received an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the scene on foot. No one was injured during this incident.
The individual was described as a black male. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a money design on the front. He was wearing a face mask with a “dinosaur” design and he also had on blue jeans. (See the attached photo)
