The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred at the Dollar General located at 5544 Thomaston Road, at around 7:10 p.m. Sunday evening.
It was reported that an individual entered the store brandishing a firearm and demanding money from the clerk. After taking cash from the safe, he fired a shot into the air, and then fled from the store on foot. He was last seen running towards the rear of the building.
No one was injured during this incident.
The suspect is described as a light skinned black male, wearing a black hoodie, black jeans, with a skull mask.
