Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to an address in the 4500 block of Ayers Road, at 3:08 p.m. regarding a person shot.
Deputies were advised that 30-year-old Joseph Lee Grayer, of Macon, was shot in the upper chest during an altercation. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene by the Bibb County Coroner. The four people who were in the residence when the incident happened were taken to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigations to be interviewed. Further information will be released as it becomes available. Next of Kin has been notified.
