On April 24, 2020, at 11:47 a.m. Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Macon man for entering auto and theft that happened at the Home Depot, located at 4635 Presidential Parkway.

It was determined by witness statements that between April 09, 2020, and April 20, 2020, 34-year-old Brian Patrick McCranie had on multiple occasions entered customer vehicles and taken items. It was also determined that on April 10, 2020, McCranie removed parts from an employee’s vehicle. 

On April 24, 2020, Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators located McCranie driving on Robin Hood Road near Finsbury Drive. Investigators conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and took McCranie into custody without incident.

McCranie was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with three counts of Entering Auto and one count of Theft by Taking Felony. He is currently being on a $17,525.00 bond.
