The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an aggravated assault incident. The incident was reported to have occurred in the 700 block of Wimbish Road, just before 4:30 p.m. on March 2, 2020.
It was reported that the homeowner heard a noise coming from the rear of his residence. The homeowner exited his front door with his shotgun and approached the backyard to check on the noise. He encountered a male attempting to gain entry into the rear of his home. The homeowner fired one shot into the air and the male began to flee the scene on foot. It was reported that while the male was fleeing, he fired two shots back at the homeowner. The suspect fled the area before deputies arrived.
No one was injured during this incident.

Investigators are asking for the public assistance locating 40-year-old Alvina Fayetta Majors. Alvina is wanted for questioning in this incident. A photo of Alvina is attached. A photo of Alvina pictured with the male suspect is attached.
