The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic accident that occurred just after 11:19 p.m. Wednesday on I-75 north near the Hartley Bridge Road ramp. It was reported that two vehicles collided on the interstate and they both burst into flames. Each vehicle was occupied only by its driver.
Both drivers were transported to the hospital with injuries. It was later reported that one of the drivers died at the hospital from his injuries. The name of the drivers will be released once the next of kin has been notified. More information on the accident will be released when it becomes available.
