The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an attempted commercial armed robbery that took place, Friday just before 11:00 a.m. at 3600 Mercer University Drive, at the SunTrust Bank. It was reported that a female entered the business and passed a note demanding money from the clerk. When the suspect did not receive any money she fled the bank. No one was injured during this incident.
The suspect was described as a female, last seen wearing all black clothing and a scarf over her face.
