The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a person shot that occurred on Jeffersonville Road near Roseview Drive, at 7:54 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to the area in regards to a female that had been shot.
When deputies arrived they found a 21-year-old black female with a single gun shot to the right leg. It was reported that the victim was walking on Jeffersonville Road when an unknown suspect started shooting. No one else was injured during the incident. The victim was taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center for treatment and is listed in stable condition at this time.
There is no information on the suspect at this time.
