On October 11, 2019, at 10:18 a.m. Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were patrolling I-75 near Pierce Avenue when they spotted a Chevy Blazer that was showing as unregistered.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver, 34-year-old Anthony Maurice Hines, of Loganville Ga. While talking to Hines K-9 Nala was deployed and did a free air sniff around the vehicle and she alerted to drugs in the vehicle.

Deputies detained Hines and his passenger, 28-year-old Rachael Megan Martin, of Dacula Ga. Deputies checked the vehicle and both Hines and Martin and located a marijuana blunt in a cup in the car. Hines was found to have approximately one and a half grams of Methamphetamine on his person.

Hines was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance and Driving While Unlicensed. He is being held on a $9,750.00 bond at this time.

Martin was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Possession of Marijuana less than an Ounce and Crossing Guard Line with Drugs. Martin was found to have hidden more Marijuana in her female genitalia when she was searched after entering the jail. She was released on October 12, 2019, on a $5,480.00 bond.
