Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators detained and interviewed 20-year-old Broderick Antivous Felton Jr., the boyfriend of the 21-year-old female victim.
Investigators were able to determine that Felton and his girlfriend had gotten into an argument and during the argument, Felton shot her.
Felton was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Aggravated Assault Family Violence. He is being held without bond at this time.

MEDIA RELEASE: Aggravated Assault Incident in South Macon
The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that occurred at 3401 Houston Avenue, Pendleton Homes, at 08:58 a.m. this morning.
It was reported that a 21-year-old black female was shot while in the parking lot near the J building. She was transported to the Navicent Health Medical Center and is listed in critical, but stable condition at this time.
No one else was injured in the incident. There is no information on the suspect at this time.
