On August 31, 2019, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office responded to 277 Walnut Street, Marathon Gas Station, in regards to a person setting fires near the gas pumps.
Upon arrival, deputies were informed by the clerk that a white female, 54-year-old Lisa Marie Boyd, had been removing the paper from the trash cans and setting it on fire at each fuel pump. While Boyd was setting the trash on fire she got into an argument with a customer. During the argument, Boyd removed her clothing and continued to argue. The customer left the store and Boyd put her clothes back on.
Boyd was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Arson and Public Indecency. She is being held on a $12,500.00 bond at this time.
