The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Shooting incident that was reported to have occurred at 4662 S. Stratford Oaks Drive just before 04:00 a.m. Deputies responded to the address in reference to a domestic dispute with a person shot. When deputies arrived they found 38-year-old Antonio Bernard Harris in the house with multiple gunshot wounds. 29-year-old Kierra Sharday Howard, Harris’ girlfriend, told deputies that she shot Harris during the domestic. There were two juveniles in the residence when the incident happened. They were asleep in another room. No one else was injured during the incident.
Harris was transported to the Navicent Health Medical Center and is listed in stable condition at this time. Howard was taken to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigations office for questioning. The juveniles were turned over to family members. The incident is still under investigation at this time, further information will be release as it becomes available.
Howard was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Aggravated Assault Family Violence. She is being held without bond at this time.
