The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that occurred on Bloomfield Way at Bloomfield Rd, just before 08:00p.m. Sunday night. Deputies responded to a report of a person shot. Upon arrival they found a black female lying on the ground beside a blue Nissan Altima with a gunshot to her body. The victim 20yr old Tynesha Desha Hammonds, of Macon, was pronounced deceased on scene. It was reported Hammonds was driving the vehicle on Bloomfield Way when multiple shots were fired at the vehicle. The suspect had already fled the scene before Deputies arrived. Hammond’s next of kin was notified by the Coroner’s Office. No one else was injured during the incident. There is no suspect information at this time.
