The victim of the homicide that was found Thursday, December 21, 2017 near the wooded area of the Bloomfield Park has been identified. Through information gathered by Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators and prints taken at the GBI Crime Lab in Macon, the victim has been identified as 21 year old Neil Patel of Macon. Patel was reported missing on December 19, 2017. Next of kin was located and notified of Patel’s death.
The investigation of the homicide of Patel is on-going. No further information is being released at this time.
